Lastly as a con, some interface elements seem quite awkward (ie. some of the smaller dialog boxes do not have an auto preview).

However there are quite a few pros to back up the cons! Corel Painter has a vast variety of natural media tools to realistically simulate some of the more traditional media. Every version keeps up with speed, stability and compatibility. When purchased, it comes on a single disc (which now adays IS rare). Corel Painter also comes with a 300+ page user manual, so any major problems and you have an index'd life saver in your grasp.
